Annotation:This briefing paper describes the adult college degree completion program developed by Indiana University Kokomo in north central Indiana. The project has compiled a database of over 5,000 "stopouts," adults who left college without acquiring a Bachelor's Degree. Beginning in 2008, a companion scholarship program provides $250 awards for up to four semesters to students who have completed 98 hours or more and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above.
