Annotation:In Summer 2004, the Council for Adult & Experiential Learning (CAEL) surveyed 1,304 human resource professionals across the United States about educational assistance benefits available at their companies. The purpose of this report is to document the current practices of companies that provide this employee benefit. In addition, we use these national survey findings to highlight trends and strategies in the field, and we note areas where employers might maximize their return on this investment.
